The 2026/27 Scottish Premiership season gets underway on August 3 with Dundee hosting Celtic. The summer transfer window is set to run until September 1.
Transfer Window
Celtic have been quiet in the transfer market, signing forward Camilo Duran from Qarabag but losing striker Daizen Maeda to Ipswich Town for £8 million. Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has questioned why the club sold Maeda now.
Rangers, on the other hand, have made several signings including goalkeeper Ivor Pandur and midfielder Vanja Dragojevic. Full-back Ross McCrorie has also arrived from Bristol City.
Heart of Midlothian manager Derek McInnes is looking to build on his near-miss last season and hopes to challenge Celtic for the title.
