Heart of Midlothian Face Young Rangers in CAS Elite League Clash

Malky Thomson has named two changes to his Rangers Under-19s side for this afternoon's CAS Elite League clash against Heart of Midlothian at the Rangers Training Centre, presented by Park's Motor Group. The young Gers got their campaign underway seven days ago in winning fashion with a 3-1 away win over Dundee United, and they square off against a Heart of Midlothian outfit who hit Motherwell for nine on the opening matchday.

Among the changes, Ashton Patton and Josh Gentles have been brought in to the starting lineup, with Sam Reid retaining his place between the posts. The backline will be made up of Patton, James Reid, captain Conor Owen, and Lyle Wark. In midfield, Ben Hutton will anchor the engine room, where he is joined by Calum Young and Luca Rankin. Gentles replaces Ruaridh Hall to lead the line in attack, and he is supported on either flank by Coben Fergusson and Callum Burnside.

The substitutes for the match include Jaden Millarvie, Corey Ngwenya, Cameron Fernie, Hall, Daniel Owoyomi, and 15-year-old Cody Mensing. Kick-off in Milngavie is 3:30pm, and you can stay up to date with the action on X @RFC_Youth.
